With this in mind, and the fact that Season 5 is only 10 episodes, the last episode of the season will be represented as CI (101). The episode stars a robot named X9 who was programmed with a handful of other X-named robots to eliminate targets for Aku. When you as an audience finish watching XCII, you are technically finished with XCII and are at the start of XCIII (93) and so on. In episode 15 of the fourth season of 'Samurai Jack,' writers Bryan Andrews and Genndy Tartakovsky cleverly made up a noir-style story arc to tie into Jack's universe.

Samurai Jack is now streaming for free on, and I highly recommend the watch. While I felt as though the 2017-produced Adult Swim season trafficked a little too much in "being adult for being adult's sake," it still sticks the landing in a remarkably emotional way. T onight was the seventh episode of the final season of Samurai Jack on Adult Swims Toonami. From multiple weapons to the changes in scenery and the weather, everything is masterfully and carefully planned to get Jack from point A to B, all done with little to no dialogue. The action choreography is superb, better than the first episode and possibly better than anything we saw before in Samurai Jack. In direct dialogue with classic samurai films, Hollywood remixes like Kung Fu, and the casual, freaky, wild postmodernism burgeoning in the late '90s and early 2000s, Samurai Jack is a breath of fresh air, an animated extension of auteur theory that delves into pure darkness, daffy digressions, and "case-of-the-week" episodes that rival the best of them. The sequence with the Daughters is the part where the episode goes off-the-rails insane. And his journey is one worth following, if you've never once seen the show or have been itching for that nostalgia drop since it first premiered on Cartoon Network in 2001. The world has become a bleak place under the rule of Aku, segregated into fantastic tribes and ruled by Aku's evil robot warlords. "We've Unlocked Every Episode So Follow His Journey Again" says the header on the Adult Swim page for Samurai Jack. After being sent into the future by evil wizard Aku, young samurai Jack makes a quest to return to the past and undo the destruction caused by the wizard. Made by Genndy Tartakovsky, this cartoon tells the story of a great warrior displaced to the distant future by the evil shape-shifting wizard Aku.
